Time to face the future
Northampton Chronicle & Echo, October 2005
The Masque Theatre’s next play in Northampton will be a thriller set in a chilling future world.
They are performing Reader by Ariel Dorfman, which tells of a future in which a strict censor is desperate to ban a book which, as he reads it, seems to be telling the story of his own life — including a horrible secret he has concealed.
Performances will take place at Northampton College Studio on St Gregory’s Road from Wednesday, October 26 until Saturday, October 29 and will begin at 7 .45pm.
Tickets cost £6.50, with concessions £5.50 and cost £4 for members.
The play is not suitable for children.
Masque Theatre's production is directed by Pat Bancroft
